Hey there. I am Bong Arquiza—your go-to social impact and PR guy.

I'm a high-energy professional with an international mindset and over 10 years of experience in internal and external communications, strategic and creative thinking, project planning and management, public affairs, and digital marketing. I use paid, earned, shared, and owned media to achieve business goals and increase brand awareness and growth.

I am currently the Director of Communications at a billion-dollar healthcare nonprofit overseeing the Greater New York area. I have extensive experience working in healthcare, providing valuable counsel and service to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, and other clients. I have also worked with both global brands and startups, tailoring my communications solutions to the needs of the clients and their audiences.

Prior to my stint in healthcare public relations, I worked for various government agencies in the Philippines, as well as international non-profit organizations. My exposure to public policy, legislative processes, government affairs, advocacy work, and lobbying efforts has given me a well-rounded communications background.

In a professional setting, I am passionate about social purpose, diversity and inclusion, and changing the world for the better.

Outside work, I spend a great amount of time blogging. I also spend a significant amount of time in the kitchen either cooking or eating—well, mostly eating. I enjoy having great conversations with people I meet randomly. Otherwise, you’ll find me enjoying my overpriced home entertainment setup and binge-watching one of Netflix's top 10 shows.
